Meet the founder

I’m Nissi Ozigbu, founder of The Growth Hut and creator of The Visible Leadership Launchpad™, my flagship system that helps leaders and business owners turn trust into commercial advantage.

Most people who’ve followed my work for a while know me through one lens:

Change.

For 10 years, my job was to help organisations answer a simple but difficult question:

“How do we create the conditions for people to change their behaviour?”

I worked with leaders, teams, and entire organisations to build clarity, reduce friction, and move people towards new ways of working.

For the past 5 years, as an independent consultant, I was brought in by global organisations who wanted support with the same issue:
How do we help people feel confident enough to move in the direction the business needs?

That work shaped the Strategic Change Leader Programme (SCL), created for experienced professionals who want to move beyond delivery and develop the strategic influence required in a world of continuous change.

But over the last year, something became increasingly clear:

The same skills that help organisations move forward
are the same skills that help leaders grow their businesses,
attract opportunities,
and build trust online.

And that realisation shifted the direction of my work.

Why the evolution?

Because I kept seeing capable people, including many change specialists, running into the same issue:

They were doing the work, but not always being recognised for it.

Not because they lacked skill.
But because their message, visibility, and positioning didn’t communicate their value clearly enough.

In other words:

It wasn’t an expertise problem.
It was a trust and communication problem.

So I began combining my background in behavioural change with:

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming: understanding how people interpret messages, make meaning, and build belief

  • Systems thinking: recognising how visibility, trust, and commercial outcomes influence one another

  • Strategic communication: the approach at the heart of SCL

  • Modern business development: especially for founders and independents

Together, these form the basis of my work today:

Helping leaders and business owners become purposefully visible, so the trust they need to grow their business isn’t left to chance.

It’s the same question I’ve always been interested in:
“What makes people move?”
Only now, the focus is not just on organisational change but also on:

  • how clients decide

  • how leaders are perceived

  • how trust forms online

  • and how expertise turns into commercial results
